I’ve been wondering how to properly document the European trip we took this spring, I’m well into the wedding season now and I already have so many wonderful weddings to share with you all but it didn’t feel right to jump in there quite yet. Not before showing you Europe, not before sharing this crazy, wonderful adventure through four countries in 31 days. I photographed weddings, inspiration shoots, and one fabulous corporate job and I wanted to blog them all. So I finally decided to just start at the beginning.
So here we are in Barcelona, Spain, day one of a crazy six day corporate job that sometimes had me working 16-17 hour days but truly, loving every second of it. Okay, that’s a lie, it was hard pulling myself out of bed at 7 a.m. after only going to sleep three hours prior but those European capuccino’s made it all okay in the end.
In case you’re wondering what the heck I was doing there, I was hired to shoot for TELUS capturing memories for some of their top employees and executives, and what a treat. Each night was a different party, each day we toured sites in and out of the city, we ate at famous restaurants, danced in beach clubs and in privately owned villas, visited a gorgeous Monastery in the Spanish hills and took in the awe-inspiring architecture of Gaudi. I met lovely people who working for TELUS and some really fabulous ones that, like me, were helping to make the behind the scenes memorable. It was an unforgettable week and this hotel was our base. I must say, I was quite impressed that the Hotel Arts changed all the flowers throughout the hotel to be TELUS colours. Pretty cool.
