I have to admit that some of my very favorite engagement sessions take place at cottages.

The vibe is laid back, the memories are already part of the structure of the place, and I love hearing the stories that have come out of them over the ages. This cottage belonged to Erin’s grandparents and is where her father spent much of his life growing up. It felt like home. The Thursday we went up was just before the Canada Day weekend, Sachin’s birthday and Erin’s too. I’m thrilled that their engagement session is now one of the memories of the place. Doesn’t get much more special than that. Also, sunset on this lake? To die for. Congrats on your engagement you too. So excited for your December wedding.
