I left this session thinking about one of my all time favorite movies, Love Story. You may or may not have seen it but it’s a heartbreaker (really, don’t watch it unless you want to cry) and the couple is so so sooo in love. The easy breezy feeling this day reminded me of that 70’s flick and likely it had a lot to do with Allison’s big brown eyes too. Check it out, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Allison and Alex are getting married this winter. They’ve picked an incredible venue in the Thousand Islands and it’s going to be cozy, and gorgeous, and full of wintery wonder. So I was pretty happy that we got to do their engagement session on a hot spring day. It’s fun to be able to photograph a couple in two completely opposite seasons.

We wandered the arboretum through the fisherman and couples lazing about under the willow trees. We spent time getting to know each other and capturing these sweet images. I cannot wait to see what kind of beauty they create with Erica Irwin and seeing as this is what Shannon Ranger did for Allison’s makeup for her engagement session you know her wedding is going to be fabulous too.
