On October 26, 2010, four years ago to the day of this photo session, Phoebe was 9 weeks old and diagnosed with a rare form of children’s cancer. I can’t imagine the fear and desperation Jenny and Jon felt when they heard their little baby’s diagnosis and now four years later little Phoebe is again fighting tooth and nail against this disease. She is the strongest little kid I know and I’m thankful to all the families (over 30!!!) who came out on October 26th to support her in her fight.

A year and a half ago when I held the first Photos For Phoebe I wasn’t a parent yet, this year I am, and when my baby was 9 weeks old I thought of Jenny and Jon and how I would feel if someone told me Maddie was sick, really sick. I was having a hard enough time day-to-day I couldn’t imagine hearing that kind of news. That makes Jenny and Jon some of the strongest parents I know.

So I hope these little faces make you smile, and maybe even laugh, and that you hug your little ones tight every day, or your big ones, or your furry ones, or which ever ones you may love, because we’re all really lucky to have them.

We raised over $3000 in one day you guys! Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Ps. The adorable Momma-to-be you will see below? Well, October 26th was her due date and we are told that she went into labour that night! A healthy baby girl followed after – Congratulations Mireille 🙂 xo
