Provence is the most incredible place to take photos. Everything is soft and old and worn; you just want to be there, smell the warm lavender air and enjoy life. This little medieval town was the absolute perfect place to spend the afternoon with Mike and Mel where life slowed right down and all that mattered was what you were doing in the moment.
We were lucky enough to go to the South of France, right? but on top of it all Danish designer Jannie Baltzer created this incredible custom poppy headpiece for the occasion. Thank you Jannie!! You’re incredible.
We happened upon the perfect little deserted bistro.
Then to a field above our little town
Mel’s gorgeous natural makeup and hair was done by Ylva Langenskiold.
Mike surprised Mel with a beautiful cuff bracelet from their friend and Canadian jewellery designer Mizdragonfly. He was going to wait until the wedding day but thought this occasion was too perfect to pass up. Agreed!
and on to some lavender too, it smelled like heaven.
Until tomorrow…the wedding day!
I can’t wait for the ‘wedding day’ pictures!!!
Absolutely stunning photos. Stunning.
Could Mel be any more gorgeous? Could they be any happeir? Living in the moment is right.
Sigh.
I want to be there.
Thanks for letting me live a little Provence through your photos Anne.
Did I mention “sigh”?
OHHHH! LOVE. EVERY BIT OF IT.
So lovely! Light, lavender and lots of love = adorable engagement photos 🙂
You have outdone yourself Anne-Marie….The pictures are to die for
