I love weddings blogs. There are so many great wedding ideas out there and wedding blogs package ’em up all nice and pretty for us. In fact, (to let you in on a little secret) a wedding blog was a large part of what sparked my interest in photographing weddings again.

So, this week I took a big step in the blog world and submitted an ad to one of my favorite wedding blogs:  Wedding Chicks.

I feel very lucky to have met one of the two fabulous Wedding Chicks at the Jose Villa Mexico Workshop in November. Amy was totally inspiring, smart, and funny, and I was thrilled to spend lots of time chatting with her about all things weddings and all things blogging. Plus, she was a wedding photographer for ten years so she has a very strong connection to the industry and a passion for photography. She gave me such great advice about the world of wedding blogging and reminded all us photographers out there how important photos are to people like her. If you haven’t been to Wedding Chicks yet, you have to check it out. It is an incredible wedding blog bursting with gorgeous photos, brilliant ideas, and fabulous giveaways. They also have an online boutique where they sell custom t-shirts, tanks and totes of which I’m very proud to say I own two, of each!
