The sun was almost kissing the horizon by the time I was able to get Ashley and Justin in front of the camera. I’m not sure what it is about Mexican sunsets but there is a certain quality of the light that is so magical and soft and makes everyone’s skin glow.

These two were the first two people I met after stepping off the plane in Guadalajara. They’re from Tennessee: Justin plays the base in The Dirty Guv’nahs and Ashley is an incredible photographer. I absolutely loved hanging out with them in Mexico and they were kind enough to let me be a third wheel. Thanks for letting me practice on you guys – you’re the best!
