Sometimes it’s personal.

At the end of the summer we took a family vacation to Prince Edward County, staying at The Drake Devonshire and celebrate my 40th birthday. After a long, great summer full of visiting family and friends and with weddings on top of the obvious work; it was a great summer, but I was definitely feeling the need for time just me, Harold, and Maddie.  So, although it was a bit of a splurge after a lot of cross Canada travel, it was a needed vacation to reconnect and celebrate our own little family. I brought along my trusty old Minolta film camera because it slows me down, reminds me to value each and every shot, and just looks so so good. Here are a few gems I’d like to share with you from our special holiday away.
