It’s amazing how quickly newborns change into babies who change into toddlers. I don’t want to forget any of it so taking photos is so important to mark these special moments .

Henry turned one year old on February 22nd so we celebrated with an amazing cake from Catherine Beddall, delicious and gorgeous cookies from Amanda of Sugar Sugar Ottawa, invited our family with an adorable invitation from Wishtree, little details purchased at The Village Quire made by Meri Meri, and I outfitted the birthday boy with a whale outfit from Baby Boden. His theme was inspired by his Daddy’s birth place, Newfoundland, and all the little details the whale, the cod, the ocean, and Jellybean Row in St. John’s were the elements we incorporated.

Pretty fun to put special effort into this little guys first birthday party.
