An AMBphoto.com update

Behind the scenes at AMBphoto we’ve been plugging away to update the website. The goal: to become more transparent and informative and include some incredible new images from our wedding, engagement, family and newborn sessions. We’ve been updating the live site as we work (I can’t stand going to a site and seeing it’s “under construction”) so some of you may have already seen a sneak peek of our updated layout and design – we’ve kept the basics the same, and then made them even better.

When I first launched the website in February 2010, I had high hopes for what it would become and I was full of ideas of where I wanted it to go but, to be honest, I was a bit shy to put everything out there. Needless to say I am SO over that now but I could not have done it alone. Selfless friends and family have pitched in with great location ideas near and far, prop ideas, tons of support, and best of all, clients.

An especially HUGE thank you to the incredible help from haroldsdesk.com. Without Harold’s Desk my site wouldn’t exist, wouldn’t have a logo, not one of these changes would have ever happened, my images wouldn’t show up seamlessly and consistently whether you use a PC, Mac, iPhone or iPad and in short the behind the scenes stuff would be a big ‘ol mess! THANK YOU Harold. You are the absolute, hands-down #1 very best!

Enjoy the updated site and if you haven’t already, please join my fan page by “liking” it. Thanks a bunch!

Five black & white images cycle randomly on the home page.

You can now click on a gallery thumbnail in the wedding section to view images from each wedding.

Thumbnails now exist to the right of each gallery so you can click there too.

Cute little newborns.

You’ve got questions? I’ve got answers.

Check out AMBphoto to see the rest of the changes.

  1. Love the updated site!! Now I can go to your portfolio to see some of the gems you have been sharing out on your blog. Don’t know how you were able to choose just the right number of photos for the portfolio — I would have wanted to put every single one up. But it is just the right number — enough, but leaves you wanting more.

Congrats and good luck heading into year two of AMBphoto.

I’m you biggest fan (well, I’d like to think I am — Harold might disagree)

  2. The revamped site looks amazing AMBphoto! It’s so easy to use and I love the shots you chose. I will be contacting you soon to arrange a family shoot.
