Sarah and Marko’s Pont Couvert wedding took place just outside of Mont Tremblant, Quebec. I’d never heard of this venue before but I can certainly see it creeping up on the list of Canadian destination wedding locations because it is truly unique. A covered bridge turn wedding venue with a lovely outdoor space to say “I do”.

I’d met Sarah a few years before her wedding at my friends Marielle and Norm’s wedding. Sarah, a dear friend of theirs, was one of their bridesmaids and had the most incredible smile and personality. I didn’t get to meet Marko until his wedding day but I knew if he was lucky enough to marry this brilliant woman then he must be something special too.

The two met while posted in India and as luck would have it, were both from the Ottawa area. It wasn’t long before Marko realized he couldn’t ever live without Sarah. Why Mont Tremblant you ask? Sarah’s family spent much of their time skiing on the mountain so it made sense to share this wonderful little town with their nearest and dearest. Congratulations you two. I wish a world of love, travel, great food and excitement in your marriage together.
