When I was a little girl my parents used to take me and my sister on long drives in the country. We would look out the windows of the car and watch the world go by, find treasures in antique stores, and my Mom always had a pair of scissors in the glove compartment so we could stop along the side of the road and cut wild flowers. Purple loosestrife, lilacs, peonies and lily of the valley are the flowers of my childhood. I’m so glad my Mom taught me all about flowers and to appreciate them because now flowers on the dining room table are a staple in my home and they always make me smile.

So, when I was introduced to Erin Carmichael of Full Bloom Florals Design a few years ago, and when I got to experience her creativity, experience her colour combinations and originality, I felt at home. Everything Erin creates amazes me and makes just makes me happy. The way she transforms a space with her designs is  awesome and the fact that she can make anything from modern, sexy, sleek creations to romantic, light, breezy ones is a talent to be admired. Whenever I photograph a wedding she’s working on I know it will be a feast for my eyes. My recommendation? Hire her, give over your budget and let her create, you will be amazed at what you get.
